I reworked pieces I had on hand from around my home, and you can do the same. What I want you to know, is that styling is an artistic skill that can be studied and mastered. It’s officially summer and the warm weather is in full swing. Because we’re spending more time at home, the thought of having a staycation has me rethinking our outdoor spaces, and perhaps you too. With so many incredible resources of inspiration, advice and expertise at our fingertips, it’s relatively easy to design a home yourself these days, but where it gets tricky is creating a space that feels truly authentic to you. Selecting materials and choosing furniture only goes so far, and without adding some special finishing touches, your space could end up looking and feeling character-less, like anybody could live there.
